Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to Lucca, I had the pleasure of staying at Affittacamere Arancio, conveniently located just 250 metres from the historic city walls. The room was impeccably clean and offered a pleasant escape after a busy day, complete with a balcony and tea-making facilities-ideal for unwinding with a cuppa. The friendly host welcomed us warmly, and upon our late arrival, they graciously extended their check-in hours after a quick heads-up, which made our transition seamless. With the picturesque botanical gardens nearby and the ability to explore on complimentary bicycles, I found the location a delightful balance of city charm and natural beauty. Free self-serve breakfast was offered at a charming nearby pastry shop, making it even easier to fuel up before heading out for the day. For anyone traveling to Lucca, particularly those with a love for exploration and comfort like myself, Affittacamere Arancio truly delivers an inviting and accommodating experience.
